Appointments and scheduling

How do I schedule an appointment?

Use the Request an Appointment page → for the official online scheduling link or call 303-233-1223.

Do I need a referral?

That depends on your insurance plan, network and circumstances. Check with your insurer and Panorama before your visit. Insurance information →

What should I bring?

Bring your insurance card, ID, medications list, relevant records and any prior imaging you can access. Full first-visit guide →

Imaging and treatment decisions

Will I need an MRI?

Not necessarily. An examination and X-rays may answer some questions, while MRI, CT or ultrasound may be useful in other circumstances. The choice is based on the suspected condition and how the test might change treatment.

Does seeing a surgeon mean I need an operation?

No. Physical therapy, activity changes, appropriate medication, selected injections or observation may be suitable depending on the diagnosis. Surgery is discussed when its potential benefits may justify its risks and recovery requirements.

Can I obtain another opinion?

Yes, patients may request an evaluation to better understand a knee or shoulder diagnosis and their options. See Orthopedic Second Opinions →.

Rehabilitation and recovery

How long will I need physical therapy?

Therapy frequency and duration depend on your operation and progress. After shoulder replacement or cuff repair, therapy generally starts within 1 week with passive motion; it may also start within 1 week after labral repair. Active shoulder motion and twice-weekly therapy begin when the sling is removed. Dr. Haber recommends trusted therapists across the Front Range. Bring your surgery-day protocol to your first visit.

When can I return to sport?

Return-to-sport planning combines healing, strength, motion, coordination, sport demands and individual risk factors. Review ACL recovery or shoulder surgery recovery for general information.

Who should I contact about postoperative symptoms or prescriptions?

Contact your clinical team using the official Panorama MyChart portal ↗ or call 303-233-1223. For an emergency, call 911. Do not submit sensitive medical information through this educational website.

Billing and records

How can I verify insurance or pay a bill?

Use Insurance & Billing → for verified links to Panorama's current insurer list, MyChart and payment portal.

Where can I obtain my medical records?

Use Panorama's official medical records request instructions ↗, rather than sharing records by unsecured email or an independent website form.
